Счастье - быть
частью материи,
жить, где нить
нижут бактерии;

жить, где жизнь
выжить надеется,
жить, где слизь
ядрами делится;

где улит
липкие ижицы*
к листьям лип
медленно движутся.

Счастье - жить
в мире осознанном,
воздух пить,
соснами созданный;

быть, стоять
около вечности,
знать, что я
часть человечества;

часть мольбы
голосом любящим,
часть любви
в прошлом и будущем;

часть страны,
леса и улицы,
часть страниц
о революции.

Счастье - дом,
снегом заваленный,
где вдвоём
рано вставали мы;

где среди
лисьих и заячьих
есть следы
лыж ускользающих...

Шар земной,
мчащийся по небу!
Будет мной
в будущем кто-нибудь!

Дел и снов
многое множество
всё равно
не уничтожится!

Нет, не быть
Раю - Потерянным!
Счастье - быть
частью материи.

Happiness—
to be part of matter,
to dwell with
small lives, weaving pattern;

to live where
each life hopes to survive,
where snails share
life with shells they dive;

where snails' slime
with V-letter* horns crawls—
to the lime
trees' living leaf that falls.

Happiness—
to live in conscious world,
to drink trees'
air—that made by pines old;

with divine
eon—to be and stand near,
to know—I'm
a part—of mankind here;

I'm a part—
of plea in loving voice,
love from start
in past, and future choice;

I'm a part—
of country, forests, streets,
pages' heart
of revolution creeds.

Happiness—
the house in snow whirling,
where in peace
we used to rise early;

where, among
tracks of fox and bunny,
there are long
traces of skis running...

The globe, still
racing in the sky sphere!
Someone will
be me in future here!

Not a piece
of each dream and affair
of much these
will be gone anywhere!

Eden's bliss
won't be lost or tattered!
Happiness—
to be part of matter.
