— До чего же они наладили быт!
Как им только не надоест!
Те, кто много пьет,
те, кто мягко спит,
те, кто сладко ест.

Присмотрюсь,
обдумаю
и пойму,
что в обмен пришлось принести
право выбирать самому
направления
и пути.
Право выбора —
право на ответ
собственный
на вопрос любой:
если можешь, «да»,
если хочешь, «нет»,—
право встать над своей судьбой.

Это самое правильное из всех
право — на непочтительный смех
и на то, что если все смирно стоят,
вольно стать,
а также на то,
чтобы вслух сказать,
то, что все таят,
кутаясь от дрожи в пальто.

Я не знаю, прав я
или не прав,
но пока на плечах голова,
выбираю это право из прав
всех!
Меняю на все права.

How do not they get tired of it?
Those who drink a lot,
sleep in the soft beds—
and sweetly eat.

I'll look through,
and ponder, and
understand,
what in exchange, I had to give—
the right to choose myself I’d stand,
the directions, and
ways to live...
Just the right to choose—
the right to respond,
all alone,
to a question forth:
"yes," just if you can,
"no," just if you want—
the right over the fate on the earth.

This is the most rightful in every aspect—
the right to laugh when you feel no respect,
when everyone stands at attention beside—
to stand at ease,
as well as the right—
to tell aloud you feel,
what each one does hide,
clad in the coat against the chill.

If I'm right or I'm wrong,
I don't know,
as long—I have my head screwed on right, so,
I choose this right—the right of rights a lot—
done,
I change all rights for this one—my word!
