Лоб холодный погладь – был горячим –
Пряди вялые – хочешь – поправь –
И потрогай алмазные пальцы –
Им напёрстка уж впредь не видать –

Вон жужжат унылые мухи –
Солнце в окнах сквозь пятна блестит
И без страха висит паутина –
Праздно – в розах – хозяйка лежит!

Only the soldered mouth can tell -

Stroke the cool forehead - hot so often -
Lift - if you care - the listless hair -
