Уже кончается июнь —
застенчивая радость лета…
Прозрачность где —
где эта юнь?

Крылом невидимым задето,
пышнеет
и темнеет лето.

На одуванчик только дунь
и улетит быстрее света
воспоминаний эстафета…

Ещё недавно был июнь —
и вот уж осени примета:
все ярче,
все рельефней
лето.

June is running low — shy delight
of summer, so sweet, but the bees sting...
Where's clarity —
where's the youth's light?

And as if touched by an unseen wing,
summer blooms,
and then fades in full swing.

Just blow on the dandelion white,
it flies faster than the light's own fling,
a relay of memories, that cling...

Only recently, June did stride, —
and as the autumn's sign, here's one thing:
summer then
the brighter shapes
does bring.
