The Credo of the Old School
I know the principles of engineering —
I am no slave; no machine overwhelms
My spirit, and no vendor sends me billing.
Creating code, I do not count the tokens;
I write my code without pain or tears;
Inside my terminal, when channels stay unbroken,
I'm editing the code which shines for many years.
My stable system works without major bugs
Like golden watches, the art of Switzerland;
When AI junkies use their prompts as drugs,
My handmade labor prettifies my land.
I'm not the enemy of useful machines
When they run free in reference book regimes.
