Михаил Исаковский «Весна»

Растаял снег, луга зазеленели,
Телеги вновь грохочут по мосту,
И воробьи от солнца опьянели,
И яблони качаются в цвету.
По всем дворам — где надо и не надо —
С утра идёт весёлый перестук,
И на лужайке принимает стадо
Ещё зимою нанятый пастух.
Весна, весна кругом живёт и дышит,
Весна, весна шумит со всех сторон!..
Взлетел петух на самый гребень крыши,
Да так поёт, что слышит весь район.
Раскрыты окна. Веет тёплый ветер,
И лёгкий пар клубится у реки,
И шумно солнцу радуются дети,
И думают о жизни старики.

The snow's gone, the greening meadows look so fine,
The carts rumble across the bridge today,
The sparrows seem to be drunk with the sunshine,
The blossoming apple trees softly sway.
Through all yards — where's needing, where isn't needing —
The merry tapping sounds are heard since dawn.
The shepherd, hired in the winter, now's leading
The herd, having been gathered on the lawn.
Spring, spring is living and breathing all around,
Spring, spring makes noise from all sides of each dwell!..
On the very roof's crest, highly himself found,
A cock crows so that all area hears well.
Windows swung open. A warm breeze blows lightly,
And airy steam curls by the river ways,
Glad kids loudly greet the sun, shining brightly,
And the old folk think of the life’s long days...
