Our Philippine Home

For our dearest Land, sing a strong, mighty tone,
The Pearl of the Orient, our Philippine home,
For all that I cherish, for all that I love,
For all Nature's wonders, each mountain, each grove!
Small may it be, but its great name stands tall,
Over the world, it shall ne'er take a fall!
Small may it be, but it's braved many a fight,
It showed all the lands and the seas strength and might!

Whenever the traitor comes trampling our shores,
Or pounds his wild thunder, or sharpens his claws,
Then armed, hand in hand, we shall drive him away,
And show him no mercy, his forces we'll slay!
He shall bow to our honour and fame,
He shall bow to the Philippine name,
Our countrymen's pride, our freedom, our right,
And our Stars and Sun in its brave, golden light!

O Land! Where dear Freedom has found steady home,
To thee our future we place on thy brow!
With pride and with zeal we shall ever defend
Our Freedom, our Power, and our Home to the end!
Labour, Prosperity, Unity, Faith,
Thy fourfold blessings that keep us ahead,
And if crisis comes, may the Heavens forbid!
For our dear Country our blood we shall shed!
