Уже предчувствие весны
Сквозит повсюду,
И сердце снова видит сны
И верит чуду.
Все тоньше льды, снега рыхлей…:
Какая нега!
О, солнце, солнце, — не жалей
Ни льда, ни снега!
Вонзай весёлые лучи
В сердца и льдины,
Весна, — сапфиры размечи
И альмандины!
Пускай порою виснет мгла.
Томит ненастье —
Пасхальные колокола
Не лгут о счастье!
И птицы вешние не лгут —
О милом взоре…
Ручьи певучие бегут,
Пылают зори.
И сладок гул колоколов,
И сердцу снится…
Полна невиданных цветов
Весны кошница.

Coming of spring is seen in streams,
In ice asunder,
Again, the heart sees happy dreams,
Believes in wonder.
Gets thinner ice, snow starts to run…:
What a bliss in glow!
O Sun, don’t spare — don't spare, O Sun,
Neither ice nor snow!
Pierce the hearts with your merry rays,
Pierce the ice floes through!
Spring, — scatter sapphires to amaze,
And almandines too!
Though the haze often fills the sky,
At times the storm blows —
But Easter bells can never lie
Of happiness close!
And all spring birds don't lie at all —
About the gaze dear…
The streams run swiftly, sing and call,
Dawns burn bright and clear.
The sound of bells is sweet indeed,
The heart dreams entwine...
Basket of Spring is full of treat —
Blooms unknown and fine!
