Вот уж осень улетела
И примчалася зима.
Как на крыльях, прилетела
Невидимо вдруг она.
Вот морозы затрещали
И сковали все пруды.
И мальчишки закричали
Ей «спасибо» за труды.
Вот появилися узоры
На стёклах дивной красоты.
Все устремили свои взоры,
Глядя на это.
С высоты
Снег падает, мелькает, вьётся,
Ложится белой пеленой.
Вот солнце в облаках мигает,
И иней на снегу сверкает.

Autumn's gone from every garden,
Winter's flown in here to stay,
Like on wings, all of a sudden,
To make frosty every day.
Here the frost grows stronger, crackles,
Covering all ponds with ice,
Kids thank winter for snow freckles,
For months of toil, hard, but nice.
And at once some patterns do appear
Of wondrous beauty on the glass,
All turn their gaze to the frost art clear,
Looking at them. From
Above, plus,
The white snow, shimmering and swirling,
Lies down with a white tablecloth.
The sun peeks through clouds, that are curling,
The frost sparkles with snowflakes moths.
