Angel

An angel winged through a midnight sky
Singing a song so gentle and quiet,
That the moon, and the stars and all crowded clouds
Thoroughly heeded those holy sounds.
He sang of the bliss of sinless souls
Under the paradise gardens’ crowns,
He praised the great God
And unfeigned his words were.
He carried and hugged a new soul
For the world full of tears and sorrow,
And sounds of his song with no words,
But vivid remained in young soul.
For long in the world with yearning she lived
All filled up with a wonderful dream
And the worlds’ boring songs could not oust
Those holy heavenly sounds.
