Быстро дни недели пролетели,
Протекли меж пальцев, как вода,
Потому что есть среди недели
Хитрое колёсико — Среда.

Понедельник, Вторник очень много
Нам сулят, - неделя молода.
А в Четверг она уж у порога.
Поворотный день её — Среда.

Есть колёса дня, колёса ночи.
Потому и годы так летят.
Помни же, что путь у нас короче
Тех путей, что намечает взгляд.

Days of the week quickly fly by, flicking;
Through the fingers, like water they run,
Cause there’s in the midweek a wheel tricky —   
Wednesday, just a day under the sun.

Monday and Tuesday, they are all ready
To promise us much, - the week is young.
On Thursday, it's at the door already.
Wednesday’s — halfway of the week, each one.

There're wheels of day, wheels of night, speeding.
That’s why our years always quicken pace.
Note, our path's shorter than even fleeting
Ways, that are just outlined by our gaze.
