Александр Прокофьев «И снова ночь, и снова рань…», поэма «Россия»

И снова ночь, и снова рань,
И снова ранью той
Растёт за окнами герань,
Цветок не золотой!

И вновь тропиночка бежит
За крайнею избой,
И вновь гармоника дрожит
Серебряной резьбой:

Не все дороги пройдены,
Исхожены пути.
Товарищ, лучше Родины
На свете не найти!

Где вырос ты, где отчий дом,
Где в жимолости сад,
Где никнет ива над прудом
И в окна бьёт закат!

Знамёна с вечной Правдою
Нам Родина дала.
Товарищ, будем храбрыми,
Чтоб Родина жила!

Чтоб Родина гордилась бы
Делами сыновей,
Во все цветы рядилась бы
От гор и до морей.

Чтоб, славя духа красоту
Навек и неизменно,
Она, как яблоня в цвету.
Была благословенна!

Alexander Prokofiev «Again, it's night, then does morn start...», poem «Russia»

Again, it's night, then does morn start,
Under that early sun,
Geranium grows in the yard,
A flower, not gold one!

Again, the small path runs, beyond
The last izba* in rays,
Again, the garmon** thrills, so fond,
With silver carvings, plays:

Not all the roads are passed; but then,
All the pathways are strolled.
My comrade, there's no better than -
Homeland in the world!

Where you rose, the father's home stands,
Where woodbine in garth meets,
Where o'er the pond, a willow bends,
In glass, the sunset beats!

Banners with Truth, saved for ages,
Homeland did to us give.
My comrade, let's be courageous,
For our Homeland to live!

For Homeland to be proud of deeds
Of all sons, heroes these,
For Homeland to be dressed in mead's
Flowers from mounts to seas!

And, faming spirit's charm and glee,
At all times, and the best,
Forever, like a bloom apple tree,
For Homeland to be blessed!
