I won’t debase before you anymore;
Nor your reproach, nor your hallo
Have no hold on my soul.
Mind that we are nothing from now on.

You have forgotten: I won’t make
Change of my freedom for mistake;
Already wasted too much time
To see your eyes, to make you smile,

Already for too long I’ve seen
You as a hope of youthful dreams.
Have loathed the whole entire world
Only for you; to love you more.

Who knows, may be the days,
The moments spent beside you,
Were stolen from the muse!
And what? What have you gave?

Maybe, exalted by a thought,
Strengthened by inspiration,
I’d give the world a miracle creation
And gain eternity in return.

What for you promised tenderly
To be more than its crown for me.
Why were you not at first
The one that you became at last.

I do have pride!.. pardon! aime l'autre,
Dream to find love in someone else;
Whatever it was earthly
I won’t become a slave.

To unknown mountains, to the south
May be, I’ll go away;
But far too much we know each other
So to be able to forget.

From now I will take pleasure
To each and every will swear passion;
I want to laugh with everyone,
But crying – never, with no one;

I’ll start to lie disgusting, low,
So not to love as did before;
Can still respect all womankind
When cheated by one angel-like?

Ready for death, for misery
Ready to fight against the world,
Just striving – Oh, how silly! -
To take you by the hand once more!

Not knowing your insidious lie,
I gave you soul, I do relied.
But did you ever know the cost?
You did! I didn’t see what you worth!
