Alone I am on the road,
The stony way is gleaming through a fog,
The night is quiet, desert heeds to God.
And stars to stars talk.
The skies are miracle and great!
Earth sleeps in azure glow…
Why do I feel so hard, so hurt?
Waiting for something? sorry for?
Expecting nothing from now on.
Nor sorry for the past at all.
Looking for freedom and repose!
I want to lose myself and drowse!
But not the grave sleep of the dead…
I dream to sleep forever that
My lifeblood napped inside of me,
And chest heaved in a breathe;
So that all day and night, cherishing me,
The voice sang love songs very sweet,
And oak above, so dark, so evergreen,
Bent over gently swishing.
