Как прекрасна судьба Пастуха!
Он с утра до заката в пути
И следит за отарой весь день -
Лучшей доли ему не найти!
Слышит зов Он невинных ягнят,
Слышит ласковый отзыв овец,
Он следит, чтоб был мир и покой,
Овцы знают, что рядом - Творец.
The shepherd
Now sweet is the Shepherds lot,
From the morn to the evening he strays:
He shall follow his sheep all the day
Ahd his tongue shall be filled with praise.
For he hears the lambs innocent call.
And he hears the ewes tender reply.
He is watchful while they are in peace,
For they know when their Slepherd is nigh.
