О, если в царстве, где Бог с нами,
Земная оживёт любовь,
С родными встретимся сердцами,
И милыми глазами вновь –
Как будем рады этим сферам!
Как сладок будет этот час!
Взлетим с земли на крыльях веры
Туда, где вечность встретит нас!
II.
Но мы не за себя боимся,
На роковом краю дрожа:
Порвать цепь бытия стремимся,
Мы прошлой жизнью дорожа.
Об вечном будущем мечтая,
Хочу сердца объеденить,
Чтоб получив бессмертье в рае,
Одной душой мы стали жить.

  Oh! in that future let us think
    To hold each heart the heart that shares,
  With them the immortal waters drink,
    And soul in soul grow deathless theirs!
