Oh! No sooner said than done! :) I like it, Lily! Especially the second stanza. But someone supercritical :) could, perhaps, nag at "он веселит" since "он" could be associated with either "вино" (then it should be "оно") or with "невозможность" (then it should be "она"), and not with "привкус".The same is true for " в него". For me it's all right - you use simple words and the translation is close to the original.

Irene, thank you. i do think that the t a s t e of Impossibility makes the Man full of joy. I will think about " в него ". thank you once more.
The matter is that Emily in her second stanza plays with the sounds: D -- D and Ch - Ch and it is very difficult to show upon the translation.
