Silken Surf
True order rules where law shows mercy, and rights know duty.
I am a captive of the gleam, of her lone rushing tide,
A gorgeous, silken surf where secrets hide.
Pierced through by lightning's thunderous dart —
A wild, untamed love has struck my heart,
Like a celestial wave, so mute and wide...
No one can help me now, but her alone,
In her, all earthly paths and ways are known.
