Concrete jungle of soul

In the village, they crave the city's gleam,
In the city, they yearn for nature's dream.
And everywhere, faces pass in a blur,
But the soul's true spark, they fail to confer.

Oh, how I ache to fall in love anew,
But in this concrete jungle, what can I do?
Only in slumber, dreams of bliss ignite,
How sweet it is, to linger in the night!

No more cold gestures, a heart of stone,
No more a flicker, a passion overthrown.
Grant me those moments, a fire to embrace,
And spill them onto paper, with tender grace.

Write of the deeds you've yet to impart,
The gifts you'd shower, straight from your heart.
When you undressed me, with a hesitant hand,
And slowly, surely, began to understand!

Remember when we were a cosmic pair,
The world at our command, beyond compare.
We soared to the heavens, on wings of desire,
You were the architect, setting my soul afire!

You showered me with touches, a whispered vow,
And burning desire, consuming me now.
You, my instructor, in love's sweet art,
Taught me to kiss, and steal away my heart!

You're my King, my sovereign, my ultimate prize,
The ruler of my body, and my soul's deep skies.
The vanquisher of cravings, wild and untamed,
The one who drinks me in, my spirit claimed!
