How glorious

How glorious it is to live this life!
And doubly so, with children by your side,
And if grandchildren grace your hearth and home,
No grief can touch, no parting make you roam.

How glorious when love, a vibrant tide,
Dispels the chill where aging years reside,
It banishes the shadows of despair,
And keeps the body strong beyond compare.

How glorious when in the marriage bed,
A fiery passion, not a winter dread,
A surging volcano, wild and deep,
A burst of fireworks while the world's asleep.

How glorious when every limb and bone,
Engages bravely, making passion known,
Recalling youth, a tempest fierce and bold,
Like a proud lion, claiming what's controlled.

How glorious to sing in sweet accord,
No moment lost, no pleasure unadored,
With open hearts, no shame to hold us back,
To kiss and caress, on love's ecstatic track.

To see, to feel, to revel and embrace,
To lose oneself within her loving space,
To grant her bliss, a burning, sweet desire,
And love with all, consumed by passion's fire!
