I shall recall it all the words, above all...
And the intoxicating breath of a whisper,
How my stupid head began to spin,
And the world around me lost its shape.
How you leaned against my shoulder,
And my heart stood still, to miss a beat –
It felt as though I were taking flight,
Drawing you with me into the abyss.
Through the mist, stepping blindly forward,
We walked barefoot across molten lava…
A meteor shower of daring desires poured down,
And a world emerged, conjured from a fashioned from delirium.
At dawn, the daybreak came to rouse us,
But those possessed find little rest in sleep…
I believe there are no happier souls on earth
Than these madmen who never close their eyes.
