***
The vertical is crucial for a Prayer,
like the feeling when caught by the police
After the traffic rules were violated
And this same sense was held by all the people,

who came to realize the Law — the godly,
immutable Law, pray in vivid sense
of the God’s presence, that is good and holy.
And lift the gaze of soul toward the heights.

The vertical is crucial for a Prayer,
like the resolve to shed five kilograms,
keeping that goal in mind as a steel level.
If such a "baffle" is absent from one’s mind -

A prayer is in vain - no elevation.
And more, it should contain the power of Love —
That grants forgiveness to each one, embraces.
And that is why we say: "Forgive me, Lord!"
