To Ezra Pound
Record the record, – re-record
the song-and-dance of history,
a word for pause, a pause for word,
another chance for poetry.
From early intuition game,
from ‘on’ and ‘off’ to ‘quote – unquote’,
an altogether different aim
is reached than just a pattern code.
On cracking up the thick-and-thins
of ready poetry, – my friend,
thus ambiguity begins,
to never actually end…
So, Pound loud, and Pound well,
disband the telos of the brain.
Go marry Paradise and Hell,
self being in, enact the sane.
