Trapped
Caught in that grip of slender legs—
Just gasps, and reckless whispers then,
And burning hearts... or so fate begs.
Pure wildfire! Every breathless moan,
A headlong rush of liquid heat—
How barons claimed a royal throne,
And melted ice beneath their feet.
My hands ablaze, a raging fire,
A full-blown, raw volcanic craze!
Like battle flags pushed ever higher,
Locked deep inside this heavy haze.
She thrashed—a furious, wild-eyed cat,
Desperate to throw me, tooth and claw,
A steppe-born mare, untamed and flat,
Rearing against the bit and law.
Sweat slicked the skin, the shadows danced,
The candles wept and burned away,
While knees locked down, as if entranced,
Rooted in earth to ground the fray.
I gripped her hips like drowning gold,
And howled—half-beast, half-man gone wild—
Spurred on the ride, untamed and bold,
By savage, blind desire defiled!
