Ещё один храм Иоанна построят на Карповке 3амфибр

Ещё один храм Иоанна
увидит наш Санкт-Петербург,
на Карповке - там, за оградой,
 где свято монашки живут.

и будет в нём стиль Византийский,
который любил Иоанн -
такой полосатый, красивый,
как шлемики сфер  -  купола.

Морской собор - Айя София,
там тоже ведь греческий стиль,
и это так древне-красиво,
Кронштадт даже мал для таких.

и мне даже стало не важно,
что жертвовал тут иудей:
Нисанов из Азербайджана,
вчера - раздражало сильней,

но соединенью неважно
с Причастием лично моим.
и буду я всем благодарна,
кто храм Иоанну воздвиг!

Our Saint-Petersburg will see one more
New church for our Saint Ioann —
on Karpovka river, behind the
fence where the nuns live devout.

It will feature the Byzantine style
that John himself loved so well —
So beautiful, with its striped design,
and domes like the helmets of spheres.

The Naval Cathedral — like Hagia
Sophia — shares the same Greek style;
Kronstadt, ancient beauty possessing —
seems almost too small for such grandeur.

And to me it no longer matters,
that a Jewish man made this gift —
Nisanov, from Azerbaijan — though
Just yesterday that thought irked me.

Yet that detail has no meaning,
when take Communion - my own.
And I shall be grateful to each one,
who raised this church to our Saint John!
