Life goes on its own steady way,
And how many circumstances it holds,
Add a million more to the tale,
A billion lives and fates untold.
And the second hand of the Earth
Alternates the changing of fates,
Infinity of events within,
Chaotic energies in motion and weight.
But behind all the chaos we see,
There's an order and vector of flight,
Everything moves in a spiral around
Toward that one cherished goal of light.
To live life so it's not in vain,
To leave some good behind,
So our mother, the Earth, would accept
This life with gratitude kind!
So the people we walked with along the way
Would speak of us with warmth and grace,
So in the lives of our children's children
Our name would remain in a good place.
And now add a million more,
A billion lives, fates, events in time,
Multiply all by goodness and law —
And the Earth will be happiness sublime!
