Gone into the Mist
«Ушедшие во мглу»
I have made a translation.
Those gone into the mist wish to see more,
Their time rushes on, knowing no sleep.
It carries far away the moments of warmth,
Of love and joy from meetings bright and deep.
There, in the heavens, there’s a law, their own tasks,
All rules for living carefully laid.
They surely know the way we ought to go,
And what to do — keep it safe, stored away in the heart’s shade.
The question is: do we hear them at all?
If “yes”, then we too will be heard, standing tall.
A ray of light, the joy of victories we’ll gain,
When spring lives on within the soul again.
That warmth and kindness we give to those near,
Will come back to us — of this, have no fear.
And the world, as before, will be bright, will be clear,
In harmony, love, and inspiration sincere.
