Some men make you write a song,
Some men make you feel you’re wrong.
Some men make you feel so small,
They deserve no love at all.
Some men flatter, some men lie,
Some men leave you wondering why.
Some men fill your heart with dread,
Then leave you crying in your bed.
Some men dream of you undressed,
Some men think they’re heaven-blessed.
Some men only want a fling,
Yet can’t climax anything.
Some men boast and some men bluff,
Some men never get enough.
Those who promise you the moon
Often vanish before noon.
I have loved and been betrayed,
For those lessons dearly paid.
If a man should come my way,
He must earn the right to stay.
Some men
