Snowbound Serenade

It's been snowing since early this morning, it's true —
The house next door disappeared from my view.
But we're warm in this room, and I'm holding you tight,
So let it snow — we've got nothing to fear tonight.

No need to go anywhere, isn't that right?
Just the two of us, here in the fading light.
Behind drawn curtains, in the soft evening glow,
We'll open a bottle of champagne — and let the whole world go.

Snow has been falling for hours on end,
It buried the paths in a white world we blend.
But it doesn't matter we don't need to go back to nowhere, you see.
I've got you, you've got me and a glass of champagne, just you and me.

It's been snowing since early this morning — I know.
But we're the luckiest two in this white frozen land —
Put on Sinatra, my love, take my hand.

Our bodies' warmth could melt the eternal frost —
Love, you know, can never be lost.
The power's gone the blizzard tore the wires away.
So light a candle we'll keep dancing with no words to say.

Snow has been falling for hours on end,
It buried the paths in a white world we blend.
But it doesn't matter we don't need to go back to nowhere, you see.
I've got you, you've got me and a glass of champagne, just you and me.

Night is the best time, the hour that's true.
At night we take off our masks, me and you.
And the falling snow makes the night a fairy tale scene.
Someone's knocking… Could it be the Snow Queen?

We won't open — we're not here, we've gone with the storm.
The blizzard took us where new dreams are born.
Your shoulder is warm beneath my hand, I'm by your seat,
And your cornflower eyes make me complete — together we're complete.

Snow has been falling for hours on end,
It buried the paths — in a white world we blend.
But it doesn't matter — we don't need to go back to nowhere, you see.
I've got you, you've got me — and a glass of champagne, just you and me.

Snow has been falling for hours on end,
It buried the paths — in a white world we blend.
But it doesn't matter — we don't need to go back to nowhere, you see.
I've got you, you've got me — and a glass of champagne, just you and me.

Let it snow…
Let it snow…
