Ordinary boy
A long, long time ago,
There lived a boy —
Just an ordinary boy.
Shy and quiet, with sad eyes — always alone.
Loving old movies and books you've never known.
A little wiser than the kids his age,
But still a rebel — soft, without a rage.
Just an ordinary boy —
Like you, like me — it's true.
Where is he now? Don't be annoyed —
Walk to the mirror — there is you.
One night he came to me inside a dream —
We talked of life, of every hidden stream.
He whispered secrets, told me how things work —
But when I woke, the details went berserk.
All I remembered — one short line:
"Life is love." And that was fine.
For starters — even for a little more.
Simple truths grow roots deep to the core.
Just an ordinary boy —
Like you, like me — it's true.
Where is he now? Don't be annoyed —
Walk to the mirror — there is you.
I traveled far — met fools and holy men,
Politicians, hermits — now and then.
And not a single one said back to me:
"Life is love. Just — let it be!"
Some were drunk on their own "deep" thought.
Some just loved the power that they bought.
They didn't need my little golden rule —
Life is love? They thought it was a fool's jewel.
Just an ordinary boy —
Like you, like me — it's true.
Where is he now? Don't be annoyed —
Walk to the mirror — there is you.
Just an ordinary boy —
Like you, like me — it's true.
Where is he now? Just take a glance —
Walk to the mirror… give him a chance.
You'll see…
Maybe…
If you're not a politician…
If you're not a hermit…
Walk to the mirror… and…
ordinary boy…
