Black Sails, Black Heart
I held the wheel until my hands turned to clay.
You swore on devotion, yet carved me to the bone,
Burning down my spirit as you turned away.
All is shattered to dust. Take the debris and leave.
I paid the debt in full; no longer will I grieve.
Припев
Black sails! Black heart!
(Where is your pity? Gone forever!)
At midnight my battered vessel breaks away.
In this hollow chest, no warmth can impart,
The embers are dead — and no pardons delay!
Whistle of the gale bites deep through the skin.
I looked into your eyes without a single plea.
You hunted for surrender, an easy fall within,
Yet your cruel betrayal only set me free.
Not another teardrop, no sorrow left to hide.
I tore myself apart from the venom of your pride.
Припев
Black sails! Black heart!
(Who bears the blame? You built the ruin!)
My wake disappears where the black waters roll.
The iron door slammed, the final sentence fell,
A stone in the deep — no return for my soul!
Let the abyss scream, demanding its price.
I stand alone against the towering crest.
You remained stranded in your own cold vice,
In the empty hush of an unholy rest!
Припев
Black sails! Black heart!
(Pride is unbowed! The agony broken!)
Steering straight on through the furious gale!
In this hollow chest, no warmth can impart,
I shattered this hell and forever set sail!
(Forever! Forever I set sail!)
