To know the History is a must
If you don't know, you will repeat
Stupidity, lubricity and greed
We study history not to be placid,
Our friends Herodotus and Tacit,
Teach us that everything will happen twice,
First like a drama, second like a vice,
Nothing is really new under the Sun,
You're a certain copy of what's gone,
If you don't want to be a counterfeit,
Learn history - your encore will be great.
