Jasmin and Alladin

In Agrabah, where the sun bakes like an oven,
Lives a princess who wants to escape.
She can't lie low within the palace walls,
Dreams of knowing the world beyond the walls.
Jasmine, like a flower that blossomed in silence,
Waiting for the wind of freedom to blow to her.

Jasmine, Jasmine, star of the east,
Fire in the heart, deep in the eyes.
Jasmine, Jasmine, a dream calls into the distance,
Throw off the shackles, forget the sadness.

The Sultan's father, he wants her happiness,
But he sees only marriage, wealth and power.
And she would like to see the real world,
To know what it is to love and dream.
She looks at the sky, where the stars are burning,
And whispers a prayer, so that they would give her a sign.

Jasmine, Jasmine, star of the east,
Fire in the heart, deep in the eyes.
Jasmine, Jasmine, a dream calls into the distance,
To throw off the shackles, to forget the sadness.

And so, in the middle of the market, where there is noise and hubbub,
He meets a thief, a simple guy.
Aladdin, bold, brave, stubborn,
Sees a spark of desire in his eyes.
He shows her the world that is hidden from view,
And Jasmine's heart beats as if for the first time.

A flying carpet carries them into the sky,
Above the sleeping city, above the moonlight.
Jasmine understands that this is her flight,
Freedom, love, that gives her this.
But the evil Jafar weaves his nets,
And wants to deprive them of happiness in this world.

Jasmine, Jasmine, star of the east,
Fire in the heart, deep in the eyes.
Jasmine, Jasmine, a dream calls into the distance,
Throw off the shackles, forget the sadness.

But together they, Aladdin and Jasmine,
Will defeat the villain, save Agrabah.
Their love is as strong as a morning hymn,
And they will find happiness in this struggle.
Princess Jasmine, she chose the path,
To love and be faithful, to be free and live!
