Lonely bed
My man’s strength had vanished like a boat,
But yesterday, it came back to my side,
And now my bed is screaming out with pride!
Well, you both abandoned me, it’s true,
Am I worse than haystacks, tell me, do?
I’ve missed you so, I’ve languished in the dark,
It’s been so long since we have shared a spark.
I want to feel your knees against my frame,
See poses that no other could proclaim,
To hear a languid, sweet, and lustful moan,
A hymn of motion, love’s own undertone.
And I want to stay awake all through the night,
To stroke you with my sheets, a soft delight,
To feast upon your bodies, wild and free,
And drink the life of passion’s ecstasy!
