Шизофреник или гений, проходя сквозь свой расклад,
Через трещины сомнений и обманчивый наряд,
Принимая всё земное как болезненный симптом,
Знает, что добро слепое по сравнению с умом.

Есть всего одна реальность и один досадный сбой:
Мир спасает не лояльность, не кто жертвует собой,
Не пророки, не мученья, не молитвенный экстаз —
Только правды отраженье, даже если мир погас.

И, избавясь от иллюзий, можно вновь увидеть свет
И под действием диффузий правильный найти ответ,
Не сгибаясь перед ложью, с детских лет привитой нам,
А идти по бездорожью в свой реальный мудрый храм.

Сохраняя путь свой честный, даже если свет жесток,
Устремив свой дух протестный в мир, в котором есть исток,
Восхваляя вечный разум, ненавидя подлость лжи,
И презреть свою усталость, покоряя рубежи.

A schizophrenic or a genius, passing through his own design,
Through cracks of doubt and false appearances that hide behind the mind,
Accepting all that is earthly as a symptom of our pain,
Knows blind goodness, next to reason, cannot truly reign.

There is only one reality and one disturbing flaw:
The world is saved not by obedience, nor by those who sacrifice all.
Not by prophets, not by suffering, not by prayerful ecstasy’s embrace —
Only by the mirror of truth, even when the world has lost its grace.

And freed at last from illusions, he can learn to see the light,
And through the force of diffusion find the answer clear and right.
Not bowing to the lies that were planted in us from childhood’s days,
But walking through the trackless wilderness toward his temple of truth’s ways.

Keeping his honest path, even when the world is cruel and cold,
Sending forth his rebel spirit toward the source that makes him whole.
Praising eternal reason, while despising the ugliness of lies,
And overcoming his own weariness, as he conquers new frontiers and skies.
