the purple stone
A silent stone, a hidden spark.
It waits beneath the ancient ground,
Where lost and forbidden things are found.
The old inscription speaks my name,
And suddenly I'm not the same.
I know I should be walking away,
But something pulls me deeper every day.
Purple light inside the night,
Calling me beyond the light.
One more step, one more door,
I don't know who I am anymore.
Purple light, I feel it glow,
There's something underneath below.
I can't escape, I can't deny,
The purple stone is calling me tonight.
The pages point beneath the street,
Where ancient tunnels twist and meet.
Paris sleeps above the stone,
But something down below has known.
I cannot turn away,
I cannot close the page.
The deeper that I follow,
The darker grows the cage.
Purple light inside the night,
Calling me beyond the light.
One more step, one more door,
I don't know who I am anymore.
Purple light, I feel it glow,
There's something underneath below.
I can't escape, I can't deny,
The purple stone is calling me tonight.
The stone is waiting...
The music knows...
The road is open...
And down I go.
Purple light inside the night,
Calling me beyond the light.
One more step, one more door,
And I'll never be the man I was before.
Purple light, don't let me go,
There's something underneath below.
The stone is waiting in the night...
And I am falling into purple light.
Purple light...
Purple light...
