Hipopo from Limpopo
In a land far away, on a sunny bright day,
Lives a hippo named Hi-po-po, from Limpopo, they say,
He loves to splash, and he loves to play,
In the river so blue, where he spends his day.
CHORUS
Hi-po-po, Hi-po-po from Limpopo,
Dancing in the water, with a joyful glow,
Hi-po-po, Hi-po-po from Limpopo,
In his land of magic, where dreams do flow.
VERSE 2
With his friends, they would prance, and they'd glide,
Through the reeds and the rushes, with nothing to hide,
From the birds in the sky, to the fish down below,
Hi-po-po the hippo, was loved by all, you know.
BRIDGE
On a starry night, under the moon so bright,
Hi-po-po would sing with all his might,
A melody so sweet, a song of pure delight,
Spreading happiness through the night.
OUTRO
So, if you ever visit the land of Limpopo,
Look out for Hi-po-po, putting on a show,
For in his heart, love does grow,
Hi-po-po is the hippo, the star of the show.
Hi-po-po, Hi-po-po!
Ho! Ho! Ho!
