Little stars are shining bright,
They are dancing in the stream,
Quietly comes on the night,
Sun has vanished like a dream.
Moonlight gently lights our way,
Every pathway, every tree,
All of nature rests till day,
Flowers, leaves, and branches free.
Only now the little breeze
Has begun to play around,
Whispering among the trees,
Rustling leaves make sleepy sounds.
Singing softly through the wires,
Like a lullaby so sweet,
Everything at last retires,
After all the day's heartbeat.
Night has taken its command,
Day has quietly passed away.
Close your eyes and dream so grand—
Sweetest dreams to you tonight.
