Молюсь на заветную

Не ты ли мысли закружила,
Как покорила с первых встреч,
Шальную кровь воспламенила
И за собой смогла увлечь.

Неисчерпаемое рвенье,
Влечет к изгибам дорогой,
Немудрено, что вдохновенье,
Смогло разжечь нетленный зной.

Ты всех затмила в одночасье,
Теплом прелестных карих глаз,
А что обрел с тобою счастье,
Вторю избраннице не ра.

Волнует, званая волнует,
Которую боготворю,
Чарует, милая чарует,
Обожествленную люблю.

Не скрыть ту силу притяженья,
Что устремилась за тобой,
Пьянит всегда от наслажденья,
Блаженство с женщиной родной.

От притяжения к желанной,
Порыв эмоций не сдержать,
Тебя считаю долгожданной
И жажду сердцем обожать.

С годами чувство не истлеет,
Век от тебя не отрекусь,
Твой образ годы душу греет
И на заветную молюсь.

Волнует, званая волнует,
Которую боготворю,
Чарует, милая чарует,
Обожествленную люблю.

I PRAY TO MY CHERISHED ONE
GEORGY ZURABISHVILI

Was it not you who set my thoughts a-whirl,
Just as you won me from our very first meeting?
You set my wild blood aflame
And drew me in your wake.

An inexhaustible fervor
Draws me along the winding path;
No wonder that inspiration
Kindled an undying heat.

You eclipsed all others in an instant
With the warmth of your lovely brown eyes;
And finding happiness with you,
I sing your praises, my chosen one.

You stir my soul—my beloved,
Whom I adore;
You enchant me—my darling,
Whom I love as a goddess.

There is no hiding the pull of attraction
That draws me ever toward you;
Intoxicating is the bliss
Of being with the woman who is my own.

Drawn to the one I desire,
I cannot hold back the surge of emotion;
I see you as the one I’ve long awaited,
And my heart yearns to worship you.

With the years, this feeling will not fade;
I shall never turn away from you;
Your image warms my soul through the years,
And I pray to my cherished one.

You stir my soul—my beloved,
Whom I adore;
You enchant me—my darling,
Whom I love as a goddess.
