Grimoire of power
I remember my grandfather's curse,
I remember the eclipse in May.
If lightning strikes the ancient tree,
It's clear the earth is cursing thee.
Hands reach for symbols of the arcane,
Promising triumph that time won't wane.
The soul's lament creaks through the air,
Sounds like a prayer: "Leave, if you dare!"
And somewhere in an abandoned keep,
At the edge of bloodstained broken land,
Lies a grimoire of secrets deep,
In weathered dust, by no mortal hand.
Among ruins of fallen royal halls,
Wind whistles through shattered walls.
Dragon wings from ages long past,
Cursed the book of words to last.
Breathing - carbon smoke above stone,
Where gargoyles watch from on high.
I see banners with bones interwoven,
In power's struggle, they reap and die.
Again whispers of runes, spirits decree:
"Return the grimoire, a god you'll be!
There sleeps a dragon on vaults of stone,
Defeat it: fate's master, you'll be known."
I take the amulet, banish phantom's voice,—
Low HP? I'm fire-proof by choice.
I'll sever time, laws I'll overthrow,
Above the world, gates of the abyss will grow.
Moonlight silvers the dragon's spine,
No light in eyes for a thousand years' time.
Within - worlds' darkness, sword's mighty blows,
And power's reflection where evil grows.
I feel the trembling and cold in my chest,
It whispers softly: "Leave, it's best."
In my thoughts only obsession remains,
Raised my sword - resolve suddenly wanes.
The creak of its body - ancient stone slides,
In the cracks - darkness that inside me hides.
It remembers kingdoms falling to shade,
How screams went silent in cold earth laid.
Breathing - carbon smoke above stone,
Where gargoyles watch from on high.
I see banners with bones interwoven,
In power's struggle, they reap and die.
I disturbed its eternal sleep,
Now to ashes and dust I seep.
Just blood on fangs remains as trace,
Punished for wishing the world disgrace.
I remember my grandfather's curse
I remember the eclipse in May
If lightning strikes the ancient tree,
It's clear the earth is cursing thee.
If lightning strikes the ancient tree,
It's clear the earth is cursing thee.
If lightning strikes the ancient tree,
It's clear the earth is cursing thee.
If lightning strikes the ancient tree,
It's clear the earth is cursing thee.
