To my beloved lady
Transparent, magic, or so it seems.
Like love that gives us wings to fly,
Then leaves us mortals here to die.
To fall asleep and never wake again,
To leave the valley of this human pain.
Too hard to bend against the winds of years,
A river for the waterfall of tears.
I want to sleep, let the slumber start,
The plague of love consumes my hollow heart.
Why keep the pulse, why keep the soul within,
When everything is serving under skin?
Why beat against the wall of this despair,
In madness, in remorse, in empty air?
Like Hamlet, thrown upon a lonely stage:
To be or not to be? A frozen cage.
In rays of sad and silver funeral shroud,
I pluck the rotted feelings, screaming loud!
Down with the words, the whims, the hollow dreams,
It’s time to sleep where no one ever screams!
The pulse is gone, the silver salt is deep,
In liquid sepulcher, I finally sleep!
Deep water... Cold caress...
No more pressure... No more stress.
I am the river, I am the tear, I am none,
The final act is over... I am done.
In rays of sad and silver funeral shroud!
I pluck the rotted feelings, screaming loud!
Down with the words, the whims, the hollow dreams,
It’s time to sleep where no one ever screams!
My dear, beloved, and beautiful lady
Farewell.
