Time Machine
than to know you're all right
I know it doesn’t make me holy
your face is stone cold
the story’s same and old
Yet something drags me back to 'if only'.
I should have anchored my ship
bite my lip don’t let it slip
that probly would make you stay
I should have praised you for peace
Iinstead i trade it for less
and then I end up like that
if I had Time Machine I’d go back to that night in May
to say what I had to say
I know you lie sometimes but all I want is find a way
not let our love ever fade away
but I shut the front door
front porch and the sea shore
Play the hypocrite to God's face" and it’s taking it's tall
if I had time machine I wouldn’t use it for the money or gold
id go back to not let you go
it was lilac like whitened bleach skies
Clouds were my confessions, written with an ink pen
highly poetic then act pathetic
i didn’t know which side of you to buy now and then
if I had keys to time i'd go back to two thousand sixteen
we were the legends just you and me
if I could crack the code I’d gladly undo this curse
then I’d rewrite our history
I’d be so dramatic crying up in attic
It’s better than crying over your leftovers drowning down in tragic oh
If I had Time Machine I’d pull you close to say so you’d know
I’ll never let you go
If i had Time Machine i'd go back to that Tuesday in May
to say what i had to say
I would be waitinf for you coming home instead now I pray
so you could come here to me again
I'd put up a fight I'd talk you down all night
and maybe theni would end up in a different kind of white
If i had time machine i'd never left it all unsaid
now i'd be calling you my man
