Graphite-tipped — a murderous lie
Positive void — the lullaby
No containment, just burning steel
Control rods that cannot heal
Can you hear the xenon decay?
Neutrons dance in a fatal ballet
AZ-5 — the final command
Scram into the poisoned land
Promethium rain on broken glass
Cherenkov light — demon's mass
The floor is breathing, the core is bare
Moskva doesn't know, and doesn’t care
Can you hear the xenon decay?
Neutrons dance in a fatal ballet
AZ-5 — the final command
Scram into the poisoned land
Two seconds... to catastrophe.
Four hundred reactors like this claim the world is safe.
But the elephant's foot is melting through the floors of reality.
Can you hear the xenon decay?
Neutrons dance in a fatal ballet
AZ-5 — the final command
Scram into the poisoned land
RBMK... RBMK...
You cannot explode, they said.
Sleep now, little zirconium.
