August urges martins to the South
August urges martins to the South.
The sky is emptier from day to day.
Space's pierced by the last flying birds
fewer and fewer. Only few will stay.
They'll stay to do the last fast fly
in the North native cheerless windy lands.
They'll meet the death in this bright sky
and fall down breathless, cutting the last trace.
The sky will fill with silence then.
Nothing will break its calm at that sad time.
It used to say goodbye during long ages.
Nothing touches it. It has not heart.
