your heart is like a dying star
my mind is like an abysmal black hole
we've been lost in a galaxy insanely far
where our love was insidiously stolen
by a magnetar
your shiny eyes have silently gone blind
my humble dreams fell hollowly apart
no one can hear the shrill lone shout
that's tearing from a squeezing heart
to the magnetar
and when we seek to call each other
and when we wish to share a hug
we'll shudder hard and realize
how everything is timeless and it's dark
inside the magnetar
