My own atlas

Libraries have this specific, low-key magical vibe. It’s that instantly recognizable smell of dust, old paper, and muted light. Most kids my age would probably look around and think it’s the most boring place on earth. But honestly? They’re missing out.

The second you pick up a book—like David Mitchell’s *Cloud Atlas* or Jack London’s *The Star Rover*—and just curl up somewhere cozy, you are literally swept away. One minute you're here, and the next, you're on a transatlantic liner in the middle of a massive, roaring storm. You can practically feel the freezing waves crashing onto the deck with this insane persistence, trying to wash away everything that isn’t locked down.

But you know what? Sometimes you don't even need to open a cover. The ultimate book is already written inside us. It’s like our souls hold these faint, echoing memories of places we’ve never been and lives we’ve never lived—we just have to learn how to turn those pages.
