Father Ocean said to every wave:
"Go, children, wake the silent land!
"The waves grew proud and rose up to the sky:
"No one can stand against us! Do not try!"

Mighty sea waves! Mighty sea waves!
So wild and high, so fierce and free!
Who could ever stand
Against the sea?

"You tiny pebbles on the shore,
We’ll roll and push you more and more!
You’ll clatter and ring... Boom-boom-boom!
With nowhere left to hide anymore!"

Against the sea?

Pebbles started rolling, knocking side to side,
"Click-clack-clack" they clatter, with a happy pride!
Pebbles now are rolling, dancing on the sand,
Singing with the ocean, hand in hand!

Who could ever stand
Against the sea?
