Angel in the fire

Wings of white — bathed in red
Falling from the heavens — the blessed are dead
Cast out from grace — into the pit
No mercy given — not one bit
Halos crack — feathers burn
Hell awaits — but they never learn
Judgment comes with a flaming sword
Not your saviour — your final lord!

Heaven's throne rejected them!
Now they rise from the pit again!
Not to pray — not to kneel
Only death — only steel!

ANGELS IN THE FIRE! (Burn!)
ANGELS IN THE FIRE! (Return!)
Not to save — but to condemn
Hell's new judges — remember them!

Once they sang in golden light
Now they bring eternal night
Lucifer's crown — now on their heads
The throne of heaven — painted red
Rivers of blood — seas of flame
Nothing holy stays the same
The righteous wept — the wicked cheered
When the angels disappeared!

God turned his face away!
Now the fallen have their day!
Trumpets sound a different tone!
Death descends upon the throne!

ANGELS IN THE FIRE! (Burn!)
ANGELS IN THE FIRE! (Return!)
Not to save — but to condemn
Hell's new judges — remember them!

They came from paradise...
With vengeance in their eyes...
No prayer will save you now...
The fallen know how...
To break the cross...
To crush the saint...
Hell is holy...
And angels faint...!

ANGELS IN THE FIRE! (Burn!)
ANGELS IN THE FIRE! (Return!)
Not to save — but to condemn
Hell's new judges — remember them!

FALLEN! FLAME! ANGELS!
FALLEN! FLAME! ANGELS!
FALLEN! FLAME! ANGELS!

Feathers fall like ash...
Heaven weeps...
Hell laughs...
The angels rise...
One final time...
To bring the fire...
