Pidgin derives from a Chinese pronunciation of the English word business, and all attestations from the first half of the nineteenth century given in the third edition of the Oxford English Dictionary mean "business; an action, occupation, or affair" (the earliest being from 1807). The term pidgin English ('business English'), first attested in 1855, shows the term in transition to referring to language, and by the 1860s the term pidgin alone could refer to Pidgin English. The term came to be used in a more general linguistic sense to refer to any simplified language by the late 19th century.[8][9]

Language - movement secret symbolism, necessary deliberate actions of the group identify  .

A pidgin /;p;d;;n/, or pidgin language, is a grammatically simplified form of contact language that develops between two or more groups of people that do not have a language in common: typically, its vocabulary and grammar are limited and often drawn from several languages. It is most commonly employed in situations such as trade, or where both groups speak languages different from the language of the country in which they reside (but where there is no common language between the groups).

A popular false etymology for pidgin is English pigeon, a bird sometimes used for carrying brief written messages, which were attached to the birds and naturally carried back to their home location, especially in times prior to modern telecommunications.[8][10]

Catholic?  From 16 to 18 September 1982, between 1,300 and 3,500 civilians—mostly Palestinians and Lebanese Shias—were killed in Beirut's Sabra neighbourhood and the adjacent Shatila refugee camp by the Lebanese Forces, one of the main Christian militias in Lebanon, with the support of the Israel Defense Forces (IDF).[1][2] On 14 September, Bashir was assassinated by a Syrian Social Nationalist Party militant under the orders of the Syrian regime, and taking advantage of the power vacuum Israel occupied west Beirut the following day. The Israeli advance over West Beirut in the wake of the PLO withdrawal, which enabled the Lebanese Forces raid, was in violation of the ceasefire agreement between the various forces. The Damour massacre took place on 20 January 1976, during the 1975–1990 Lebanese Civil War. Damour, a Maronite Christian town on the main highway south of Beirut, was attacked by militants of the Palestine Liberation Organisation and as-Sa'iqa. Many residents were killed or forced to flee.[2] According to Robert Fisk, the town was the first to be subject to ethnic cleansing

In June 1982, Israel invaded Lebanon with the intention of rooting out the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO). By 30 August 1982, under the supervision of the Multinational Force, the PLO withdrew from Lebanon following weeks of battles in West Beirut and shortly before the massacre took place. The Lebanese president Bashir Gemayel banned the Lebanese Forces from operating in Beirut, replacing their positions with the Lebanese army. On 11 September 1982, the multinational force withdrew from Lebanon, and the Lebanese army entered parts of West Beirut to restore civil order but did not enter the Palestinian camps. Various forces—Israeli, Lebanese Forces and possibly also the South Lebanon Army (SLA)—were in the vicinity of Sabra and Shatila at the time of the slaughter, taking advantage of the fact that the Multinational Force had removed barracks and mines that had encircled Beirut's predominantly Muslim neighborhoods and kept the Israelis at bay during the siege of Beirut.[3] On 14 September, Bashir was assassinated by a Syrian Social Nationalist Party militant under the orders of the Syrian regime, and taking advantage of the power vacuum Israel occupied west Beirut the following day. The Israeli advance over West Beirut in the wake of the PLO withdrawal, which enabled the Lebanese Forces raid, was in violation of the ceasefire agreement between the various forces.[4]

In the Karantina massacre on 18 January 1976, Kataeb Regulatory Forces killed 1,000 to 1,500 people.[4][5]

The Ahrar and the Phalangist militias, based in Damour, and Dayr al Nama had blocked the coastal road leading to southern Lebanon and the Chouf, which turned them into a threat to the PLO and its leftist and nationalist allies in the Lebanese Civil War.[6]

That occurred as part of a series of events during the Lebanese Civil War in which Palestinians joined the Muslim forces,[7] in the context of the Christian-Muslim divide,[8] and soon Beirut was divided along the Green Line, with Christian enclaves to the east and Muslims to the west.[9]

On 9 January, the militias began a siege of Damour and Jiyeh.[10] The PLO entered Jiyeh on 17 January.[10] Before 20 January, more than 15,000 civilians had fled Damour.[3]

Karantina was overrun by militias of the right-wing and mostly Christian Lebanese Front, primarily the Kataeb Regulatory Forces (KRF) militia of the Kataeb Party (a.k.a. Phalangists),[14][15] resulting in the deaths of approximately 600–1,500 people.[2][12] According to then-Washington Post-correspondent Jonathan Randal: "Many Muslim men and boys were rounded up and separated from the women and children and massacred; while many of the women and young girls were violently raped and murdered."[13]

Before the Karantina massacre, on January 9, 1976, the LNM and the PLO laid siege to the Christian towns of Jieh and Damour, cutting off access to water, food, and medical aid. Mass killings of civilians continued in Damour leading to the Damour massacre, which the LNM and the PLO perpetrated after the Karantina massacre.[16][17][12][18]

After the Lebanese Front militias took control of the Karantina district, the Tel al-Zaatar refugee camp was besieged for five months, ending in the Tel al-Zaatar massacre

The Tel al-Zaatar[a] massacre was the killing of approximately 1,500 Palestinians and Lebanese Muslims in the Tel al-Zaatar refugee camp in Beirut, Lebanon on 12 August 1976. The massacre occurred during the Lebanese Civil War, after the Tel al-Zaatar refugee camp had been under siege since January 1976 by Lebanese Christian militias of the Lebanese Front led by the Kataeb Phalangists. The attack on al-Zaatar was part of a wider campaign to expel Palestinians from Lebanon, especially those affiliated with the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO).[1] After the massacre, the Tel al-Zaatar refugee camp was depopulated and destroyed.

The lands of Midian are mentioned in sura Al-Qasas (The Stories), verses 20–28, of the Quran as the place where Musa (Moses) escaped upon learning of the chiefs conspiring to kill him.[48]

During the Baal-Peor episode, when Moabite women seduced Israelite men, Zimri, the son of a Simeonite chief, got involved with a Midianite woman called Cozbi. The couple were speared by Phinehas.[37] War against Midian followed. Numbers 31 reports that all but the virgin females were slain and their cities burned to the ground.[38] Some commentators, for example the Pulpit Commentary and Gill's Exposition of the Bible, note that God's command focused on attacking the Midianites and not the Moabites,[39] and similarly Moses in Deuteronomy directed that the Israelites should not harass the Moabites.[40]

During the time of the Judges, Israel was oppressed by Midian for seven years[41] until Gideon defeated Midian's armies.[42] Isaiah speaks of camels from Midian and Ephah coming to "cover your land", along with the gold and frankincense from Sheba.[43] This passage, taken by the Gospel of Matthew as a foreshadowing of the Magi's gifts to the infant Jesus, has been incorporated into the Christmas liturgy

Shuaib, Shoaib, Shuayb or Shu;ayb (Arabic: ;;;;;;;, IPA: [;u;ajb]; meaning: "who shows the right path") is an ancient Midianite prophet in Islam and the most revered prophet in the Druze faith.[1] Shuaib is sometimes identified with the Hebrew biblical Jethro, Moses's father-in-law. Shuaib is mentioned in the Quran 11 times.[2] He is believed to have lived after Ibrahim (Abraham), and Muslims believe that he was sent as a prophet to the Midianites,[3] who are also known as the A;;;b al-Aykah ("Companions of the Wood") for their worship of a large tree.[4][5][6][7] To the Midianites, Shuaib proclaimed the "straight path", warning them to end their fraudulent ways[example needed]. When the community did not repent, God destroyed the community.[3][5]. According to the Book of Genesis, the Midianites were the descendants of Midian, a son of Abraham and his wife Keturah: "Abraham took a wife, and her name was Keturah. And she bare him Zimran, and Jokshan, and Medan, and Midian, and Ishbak, and Shuah" (Genesis 25:1–2, King James Version).   Shuayb's mission is often mentioned in the Qur'an with the mission of Noah, Hud, Saleh and Lot. Scholars have pointed out that these five prophets exemplify the early prophetic missions: The prophet would be sent to his community; the community would pay no attention to his warning and would instead threaten him with punishment; after years of preaching, God would ask him to leave his community, while his people were subsequently destroyed in a punishment. Scholars chronologically interpret the listing of the five prophets, so Shu;ayb was a descendant of Ibrahim (Abraham) and Nuh (Noah).

The tribe of Madyan inhabited the south of Palestine. Their vast lands were covered with magnificent gardens and groves known as al-Aykah (the Thicket). The people of this tribe were notorious for their dishonesty in trade; when selling goods, they would use underweight measures to give less than what was due, whereas when buying, they would use heavier weights to take more than their fair share. The Madyanites would attack travelers, engaging in banditry and robbery. They maimed people and showed no fear of Allah, for they worshipped false deities, believing that these gods had created them. Christian period
In late antiquity, the inhabitants of Midian may have adopted Christianity. Umayyad-era poetry, in the early eighth-century, attests to the presence of monks and monasteries at Midian (as well as nearby sites, such as Wadi al-Qura), especially in the verses of the poet Kuthayyir who speaks of the "monks of Madyan".[16]

The Kataeb Regulatory Forces – KRF (Arabic: ;;;; ;;;;;;; ;;;;;;;;, romanized: Quww;t al-Kat;;ib an-Ni;;miyyah) or Forces R;gulatoires des Kataeb (FRK) in French, were the military wing of the right-wing Lebanese Christian Kataeb Party, otherwise known as the 'Phalange', from 1961 to 1977. The Kataeb militia, which fought in the early years of the Lebanese Civil War, was the predecessor of the Lebanese Forces.

Pierre Gemayel was born on 6 November 1905 in Bikfaya, Lebanon into a Maronite family.[2] His father Amine Bachir Gemayel and his uncle were forced to flee to Egypt after being sentenced to death in 1914 for opposing Ottoman rule, returning to Lebanon only at the end of World War I.

Aoun- 12 October 1990. On 13 October, the Syrian forces launched a decisive operation against Aoun, invading his strongholds including the Presidential Palace in Baabda and killing hundreds of Lebanese soldiers and civilians. Aoun fled to the French Embassy in Beirut where he declared his surrender and was later granted asylum in France where he lived in exile for 15 years.

The Qana massacre[1] took place on April 18, 1996, near Qana, a village in then Israeli-occupied Southern Lebanon, when the Israeli military fired artillery shells at a United Nations compound, which was sheltering around 800 Lebanese civilians,[2][3] killing 106 and injuring around 116. Four Fijian United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon soldiers were also seriously injured
