Believe it or not, but yesterday I saw a white horse on the green grass. She was not alone, but //in the// neighborhood of other horses. She neighed when I showed up there. With her hostess’s friend. The other horses were looking at her and were silent. Was it because she was white, and they were of chestnut color, as cognac is?
Верите/to believe(v,R) или нет, но вчера я видела белую лошадь на зелёной траве. Она была не одна, но в соседстве/neighbourhood с другими лошадьми. Она заржала/to neigh(v,R), когда я появилась/to show up(v,R) там с подругой. С подругой своей хозяйки. Соседние лошади смотрели на неё и молчали. Потому ли, что она была белая, а они - рыжие/chestnut, как коньяк?

 No, I’m not a greyhound. But I ride a horse - if someone takes me into the saddle.
 And I don’t neigh.
 I smile.
 I hope she neighed with pleasure and not for some particular interest.
Secondly, I’m thinking  horses have different eyes.
Eyes before a ride and the ones after.
Stable eyes and riding eyes. I will check that tomorrow. It depends on the rider, though.
Да, я не борзая/greyhound(N,c). Но я умею ездить верхом - если кто-нибудь возьмёт/attn: time=Pr меня в/in седло/saddle(N,c). А ржать я не умею. Я улыбаюсь. Надеюсь/to hope(v,R), она ржала от удовольствия, а не с какой-нибудь/some особенной/particular целью/interest.
Во-вторых, я думаю, что глаза у лошади - разные/different: глаза до прогулки и после. Конюшенные/Stable и верховые/riding. Я завтра это проверю/to check. Впрочем/, though, это зависит/to depend on(v,R) от всадника/rider(N,c).

Also, I saw meadows and flowers on them, and fat clumsy bumblebees.
They got inside the flower and horsed around there, all tree at a time , with all their eighteen paws. I was afraid, they would break their wings. Their striped hairy butts were very busy.
 They were all in pollen.
 And then , I understood , that the nectar was really tasty. Are bees allergic to anything?
I wonder, what the honey will be like?
Only I can’t have it, just like coffee with lemon.
 A little sad, but it’s true.
Ещё, я видела луга/meadow(N,c) и цветы на них, и толстых неуклюжих шмелей/bumblebee(N,c). Они залезали/to get(got,got/gotten) внутрь цветка и возились/to horse around(v,R) там, все трое разом/at once, всеми своими восемнадцатью лапами/paw(N,c). Я боялась, что они сломают себе крылья/wing(N,c). Их полосатые/striped волосатые/hairy попки/butt(N,c) были очень заняты. Они были все в пыльце/pollen. И тут я поняла, что нектар/nectar(N,u) был действительно/really вкусный. Есть ли/Are у пчёл аллергия/allergic на/to что-нибудь? Интересно, а каким/to be like будет мёд? Только/Only мне его нельзя/can't have, как и/just like кофе с лимоном. Немного грустно, но правда.

Вообще-то/Actually, вообще нечистого/a wicked one**. Я это немедленно понял, когда нечистый занял обе лавочки разом. Я хорошо слежу за порядком во всем/I keep good order of things, вы знаете.

Я ему говорю: подвиньтесь, пожалуйста.
А он мне: я - помощник губернатора.
Я поджал/to purse(v,R) губы. Я не знал, куда мне деть/to put свою сумочку/purse(N,c) для грязи. Я снабдил/to equip with(v,R) свою вежливость  вопросительным/questioning взглядом.
Действующий, - добавил он.
И его сказочный/fairy сливовый нос повернулся боком/sideways. Бок был не лучше.

Then l go: would you like to meet English?

А он мне: у меня два высших образования, из Ташкента.
Какого Кента?, - подумал я.
Я ему: Ба, да вы знакомы с Александром А. Милном***!
А он мне: в каком отделе/department(N,c)?
Тогда я ему: хотите ли Вы познакомиться с английским?

Way he shouted: How dare you!
But my wife was the best English teacher in the district.
She up till now gets calls from abroad.

Sometimes things come strange.

Что тут скажешь/can I say. Иногда случаются странности/, things come strange. Но жизнь ещё страннее/comes stranger, и виляет/to wag(v,R) хвостом/one's tail. И я не имею в виду/to mean(meant, meant) виски/whiskey "Белая Лошадь".
